Intervention 1: After receiving 5 ml/kg of ringer lactate and pre-oxygenation for patients, the anesthetic induction will perform including Fentanyl 2mcg/kg, Thiopental sodium 2.5 mg/kg, Midazolam 0.1

40 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with ASA-I and ASA-II. Patients are between 40 and 70 years old. Patients are scheduled for elective cataract surgery. Patients have been referred to Khalili Teaching Hospital in Shiraz.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Surgery under local anesthesia People with mental disabilities Unwillingness to participate in the study Patients with a history of gastroesophageal reflux Patients with obstructive sleep apnea

MeasureTime frame
Epigastric pain. Timepoint: four hours after surgery. Method of measurement: Numeric Rating Scale (NRS).
