Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients with documented diagnosis of systolic heart failure based on echocardiography Older than 15 years old In the mitral regurgitation subgroup, patients with diagnosed mitral regurgitation Patients who underwent echocardiography by both traditional and Tissue Doppler Imaging methods
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy and lctation Presence of ischemic heart disease Patients with coexisting other valvular disorders Mitral valve calcification (due to the interaction of calcification with TDI evaluation) Incomplete medical records including no records for ejection fraction and echocardiographic findings which document heart failure or mitral regurgitation

| Tei index is an echocardiographic indicator of left ventricular systolic and diastolic function with few limitations. Timepoint: Evaluations will take place only at one stage and the results of Tei index based on each method will be compared between study groups. Furthermore, the relationship between Tei index calculations based on each method and study groups will be assessed. Method of measurement: Tei index will be calculated using the following formula based on echocardiographic findings; Tei index= (IVRT+IVCT)/ET. | — |
