Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: Patients treated with mouthwash containing aqueous extract of saffron. Intervention 2: Control group: Patients treated with chlorhexidine mouthwash.

35 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with moderate to severe chronic periodontitis in more than 30% of the areas Individuals over 35 years of age without systemic diseases and under 65 years of age due to the avoidance of age-related effects on periodontal disease Patients with more than 16 natural teeth Patients with chronic periodontitis with loss of adhesion of more than 3 mm and evidence of radio-graphic bone resorption

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Poor oral hygiene by patients
