Intervention 1: Intervention group: After induction of general anesthesia, patients in the intervention group will receive 0.5 mg/kg of ketamine intravenously 15 minutes before surgery. Pain intensity

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with ASA class I or II Duration of surgery between 60 and 120 minutes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with alcohol or drug addiction Patients taking psychiatric medications Patients with a previous allergy to ketamine

Measure	Time frame
