Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Prematurity Development of anemia Admission to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Neonates with active bleeding Neonates with coagulopathy Neonates with congestive heart failure Neonates with grade III or higher intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) Neonates with disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC)
