Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: In this group, consisting of 30 patients with TBI, the patients will receive erythropoietin as a daily subcutaneous injection at a dose of 4000 international units.

18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Isolated traumatic brain injury (TBI) or multiple trauma with associated traumatic brain injury. Confirmation of TBI diagnosis by a specialist physician. Stable physiological status.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe side effects caused by medications. Severe changes in the patient's clinical status requiring emergency interventions. Presence of severe associated injuries (liver laceration, spleen laceration, free abdominal fluid requiring surgical exploration).

MeasureTime frame
Assessment of the level of consciousness. Timepoint: Before the intervention and then at the end of the study (a total of two times). Method of measurement: Using the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) tool.
