Intervention 1: Intervention group: These patients will take gabapentin (100 mg) orally with 50 ml of water half an hour before the start of anesthesia
Then a dose of 2 mg of dexamethasone (drug volume equal to 1 cc + 1 cc of distilled water in a 2 cc syringe) will be injected intravenously ten minutes before the start of anesthesia. Intervention 2:

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Class II and I Candidate for septoplasty surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with severe mental disorders, history of epilepsy or seizures Body mass index above 40 kg/m2 Patients with medical conditions (high blood pressure, diabetes, kidney or liver failure)
