Intervention 1: Intervention group1: Donepezil (Jalinous Company) in dosage of 5 mg during 1 month then induction of drug dosage to 10 mg for 2 months. Intervention 2: Intervention group2: Donepezil

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elderly patients with dementia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of diabetes, blood pressure, thyroid problem, and reversible dementia

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Severity of cognitive impairment. Timepoint: Before starting treatment and six months after starting treatment. Method of measurement: mini mental status exam(MMSE) questionnaire.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Sevirity of Cognitive impairment. Timepoint: Before starting treatment and six months after starting treatment. Method of measurement: Addenbrooke's cognitive examination questionnaire.
