Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Married Iranian women aged 50-60 with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes (based on the SIB system report) Full consent of women with type 2 diabetes and their spouses to participate in the study At least six months have passed since the diagnosis of diabetes Having at least mild sexual dysfunction (based on a score of less than 23 on the female Sexual Dysfunction Questionnaire)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe mental disorder (depression, panic attacks, schizophrenia, cognitive disorders, etc.) Ttaking antidepressant drugs Addiction and substance abuse

MeasureTime frame
Diabetes self-care knowledge; diabetes self-care behavior; Fasting blood sugar and 2hpp; women's sexual function; women's marital satisfaction; spouses' marital satisfaction. Timepoint: Before and 2 months after intervention. Method of measurement: Researcher made knowledge questionnaire; Diabetes Self-Management Questionnaire (DSMQ); 15 items ENRICH Marital Satisfaction Scale; Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI); Glucometer for FBS and 2hpp.
