Intervention 1: Intervention group: receiving spirulina algae daily for 28 days from Goldspear (4 grams per day in 4 capsules of 1000 mg), two capsules every 12 hours. Intervention 2: Control group: D

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Willingness and ability to cooperate in the project Teenage boys in the age range of 16-18 years Regular attendance and participation in training sessions, including three practice sessions and one competition session per week.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Consumption of any dietary supplement during the study Participate in any training sessions outside of the team schedule Suffering from underlying diseases (cardiovascular, respiratory, kidney, liver and all types of cancers), suffering from respiratory and inflammatory diseases from one month before the start of the study

MeasureTime frame
C-reactive protein. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study, on the 28th day after the start of the study, on the 29th day (1 hour after the shuttle run protocol) and on the 30th day 24 hours after the shuttle run protocol. Method of measurement: C-reactive protein quantitative measurement kit.
