18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with morbid obesity with a BMI between 40 kg/m2 and 50 kg/m2 Age range between 18 and 65 years Eligible for SG based on ASMBS indications

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Hiatal hernia pervious gastric surgery Presence of esophageal disease on manometry Evidence of grade C to D esophagitis on endoscopy Evidence of Barrett's esophagus on endoscopy

Esophageal motility disorder in manometry. Timepoint: Before surgery and 6 months after surgery. Method of measurement: Manometry.
