Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients referred to Mashhad Faculty of Dentistry Patients suffering from acute dental pain due to irreversible pulpitis of first mandibular molars Absence of pulpal necrosis signs such as abscess, fistula or periapical radiolucency No history of taking analgesics during recent 8 hours
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Lack of response to pulpal vitality tests Existence of periapical radiolucency Signs of acute periapical periodontitis Low to medium level dental pain History of significant medical condition
