Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age between 15 and 50 years Patients with acute optic neuritis symptoms with symptoms beginning at least two weeks before Use of proper contraception during the study Signature of consent form
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Other eye diseases (such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, severe myopia, macular degeneration) Disk hemorrhage Visual acuity in the absence of light understanding Cotton wool spots History of heart conduction block disorders Suicide history or suicidal thoughts in the last 6 months Malignancy history Pregnancy and breast feeding Serum creatinine higher than 1.5 and liver tests more than twice as normal History of alcohol consumption over the past year B12 deficiency or untreated hypothyroidism Major Diseases of Cardiovascular system, Psychiatric disorders, Metabolic, Hematological and other diseases
