Intervention 1: Intervention group 1: undergoing subcuticular suture for the skin incision. Intervention 2: Intervention group 2: undergoing matress suture for the skin incision.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age range 18 to 50 years old Being candidate for appendectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Perforated appendicitis Immunodeficiency Body Mass Index of more than 30 kg/m2

Measure	Time frame
Surgical site infection. Timepoint: During the patient's hospitalization period. Method of measurement: By direct observation of the signs of infection.;Post-operation pain severity. Timepoint: 0, 6, 12, 24 hours after the surgery. Method of measurement: By using the Visual Analogue Scale.	—
