Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Male gender. Participation in at least one 2-hour volleyball or basketball training session or match per week, or two 1-hour sessions per week, during the last 2 years. Age between 18 and 35 years. Presence of at least one latent myofascial trigger point in the quadriceps and gastrocnemius muscles of both lower limbs
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The presence of musculoskeletal problems (such as pain in the lower limbs) that prevent the individual from performing the tests. Lack of willingness to participate in the study. trauma or injury to the lower limb muscles or joints within the last 6 months that resulted in at least 2 weeks of absence from activity, or in which the athlete still experiences pain.
