Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: all positive SIRS patients greater than or equal to 18 years with suspicion to infection that antibiotics have been started for them

Measure	Time frame
Improved in procalcitonin marker. Timepoint: Marker measurements at day 0, 3 and 5 after calcitriol injection. Method of measurement: Reduce symptoms of inflammation.	—
