Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18-50 years old. Having 20-50 percent of thermal burn. Having two burned areas that are almost identical in terms of location and depth. Willing to cooperate and follow up on treatment and complete the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are pregnant or breastfeed. Burn in joints, face, perineum and hands. Having concomitant diseases (diabetes, connective tissue disease, chronic kidney disease, cardiovascular disease) and any type of disease that impairs the immune system and delays wound healing. Suffering from acute mental disease. Having unstable extensive trauma. Taking immunosuppressant drugs.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Scar. Timepoint: 3 and 6 months after the intervention. Method of measurement: Vancouver Scar Scale, Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale and pathology.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Rate of grafting. Timepoint: Days 5 and 7 during the first week of treatment. Method of measurement: Clinical examination.;Wound healing. Timepoint: Days 7, 14 and 21 after treatment. Method of measurement: Clinical examination, photography and pathology.
