Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Female gender Age 60 years and older Membership and continuous presence in the Shiraz Farzanegan Farhikhteh Foundation Residence in Shiraz with no intention to relocate during the study period Having sufficient cognitive health (Score of 22 or higher in the Mini-Addenbrooke Cognitive Examination M-ACE) Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in Persian Providing written informed consent to participate in the research

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Suffering from uncontrolled chronic disease or severe motor disability preventing light physical activity (according to physician diagnosis or self-report) Presence of acute psychological crisis at screening (including active psychosis or mania) Having active suicidal ideation at screening Concurrent participation in other similar educational programs or psychological interventions at the start of the study Having a definite plan to relocate from Shiraz city during the study period

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Mean climate anxiety score of older women. Timepoint: Measured at the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and one month after the completion of the educational intervention. Method of measurement: Thirteen-item Hogg Climate Anxiety Scale.

Mean depression score of older women. Timepoint: Measured at the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and one month after the completion of the educational intervention. Method of measurement: Fifteen-item Geriatric Depression Scale short form.;Mean fear of falling score of older women. Timepoint: Measured at the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and one month after the completion of the educational intervention. Method of measurement: Short version of the Falls Efficacy Scale-International.;Mean score of the ability of older women to perform basic activities of daily living. Timepoint: Measured at the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and one month after the completion of the educational intervention. Method of measurement: Barthel Index for measuring independence in daily activities.;Mean score of the ability of older women to perform instrumental activities of daily living. Timepoint: Measured at the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and one month after the completion of the educational intervention.
