Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Mother's study entry criteria: Mother's desire to exclusively breastfeed Being literate Mother must be at least 18 years old. Normal maternal body mass index is 18.5-24.9 kg/m2 before pregnancy. Criteria for excluding the mother from the study: Maternal smoking, alcohol, and drug use The mother's use of any milk-boosting medication or herbal combination Mother's infection with infectious diseases that can be transmitted through breastfeeding, such as AIDS and active pulmonary tuberculosis History of infertility History of estrogen-dependent cancers such as uterine cancer, breast cancer, endometrial hyperplasia, etc. Breast problems in the mother, such as: mastectomy, nipple indentations and abscesses and infected mastitis, drooping or small nipples, lack of breast development in prenatal Performing breast surgeries on the mother Underlying diseases such as asthma, coagulation disorders, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes, high blood pressure and digestive diseases Mother's incidence of psychological disorders based on mother's self-report Inclusion criteria for the newborn study: Healthy, full-term infants aged 1 to 7 days Full-term baby (37 to 42 completed weeks) Newborn weighing 2500 to 4000 grams Infant food intolerance Criteria for excluding infants from the study: The presence of congenital abnormalities in the baby, such as cleft lip and cleft palate Disease or nutritional problem Twin and multiple babies
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Criteria for maternal exit after the start of the intervention: Mother's unwillingness to continue cooperation Not consuming more than 10% of anise tea consumed by the mother Allergic reactions following consumption of anise tea Using herbal and chemical medicines to increase breast milk volume Stopping breastfeeding for any reason
