Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients cooperation in dental and oral hygiene care Existence of at least 20 teeth in mouth Generalized gingivitis Mild periodontitis with 1to 2 mm CAL Probing depth 3 mm or less

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Systemic diseases such as diabetes Pregnancy and breastfeeding Consuming cigarette and tobacco Allergic reaction to pomegranate Consuming anti-inflammatory drugs before and through the study Antibiotics prophylaxy in last 6 months Receiving periodontal treatment in last 6 months Not returning for post operative evaluations

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Generalized gingivitis and mild periodontitis. Timepoint: baseline and 3 weeks after intervention. Method of measurement: using papillary bleeding index , plaque index and gingival index.
