Intervention group: patients undergoing phacoamulsification surgery with 1 and above one dioptre astigmatism. patients steep meridian will be marked, At the beginning of the operation, opposite cornea

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing cataract surgery by phacoamulsification, with 1 and 1< dioptre astigmatism

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of corneal or anterior segment surgery Previous trauma Corneal scar Irregular astigmatism

Primary

Measure	Time frame
Patients with one and above dioptre of astigmatism, measured by computer keratometry. Timepoint: Measuring astigmatism and the steep meridian before intervention at first visit and 1 & 7 days & 1,3,6 month after intervention. Method of measurement: Computer keratometry and javall keratometry.	—
