Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elderly 60 to 74 years old and suffering from type 2 diabetes Willingness to participate in the study using at least one oral or injectable medication to control diabetes having a smartphone and the ability to use the application being able to take medication without the help of others being literate obtaining a score of 24 or more on the MMSE questionnaire

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Having hearing or vision problems Having complete medication compliance based on Morisky Questionnaire (MMAS-8)

MeasureTime frame
Medication compliance. Timepoint: Before and 3 months after the intervention. Method of measurement: Moriski medication adherence questionnaire.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
How to take medicines. Timepoint: Before and 3 months after the intervention. Method of measurement: Questionnaire created by the researcher including forgetting the medications during the last week, fasting blood sugar in the last measurement, hemoglobin A1C if available.
