Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 25-70 years Patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) class 1 and 2 Patients candidate for elective laparotomy surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with severe debilitating disease Patients with blood disorders Renal and hepatic impairment, diabetes, severe septic shock or sepsis, Addison or Cushing's disease, epilepsy Alcohol abuse smokers Pregnant women trauma Severe allergy to any of the drugs used Patients with a history of corticosteroid use with a dose that can suppress the pituitary-adrenal cortisol axis Severe hemodynamic changes during surgery Duration of surgery more than 4 hours The patient's unwillingness to participate in the study
