Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who are Hospitalized for elective surgery Patients aged 18 to 65 years old The patient is completely alert The patient has the ability to communicate verbally The patient is not allergic to Iodine and Leukoplast adhesive There is a suitable vessel in the anterior region of the left hand

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: It is not possible to make a venous line at the desired location The patient used a sedative and anti-anxiety drug for at least 8-6 hours before referral A patient with Neuropathy, diabetes or other disease that affected on pain perception The patient has other pain and discomfort before the intravenous line Patient with psychological disorders based on medical records The patient is addicted

Pain severity score based on the visual scale of pain. Timepoint: Immediately after fixing the angiocate. Method of measurement: Visual Analogue Scale.;Heart rate. Timepoint: Before, immediately, 5 minutes and 10 minutes after completing the intravenous line. Method of measurement: the watch.;Blood Pressure. Timepoint: Before, immediately, 5 minutes and 10 minutes after completing the intravenous line. Method of measurement: Mercury barometric.;Percentage of arterial oxygen saturation. Timepoint: Before, immediately, 5 minutes and 10 minutes after completing the intravenous line. Method of measurement: Pulse oximeter.
