Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: For each patient in this group,1500 unit dose of HCG was injected every week. The dose was continued for 5 weeks.The patients were then given a 3-week rest period.

Inclusion criteria: Children with undesended testis Age over 8 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Retractile testis Genitourinary tract abnormalities Parental dissatisfaction

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Percentage of children over 8 months who have testicular failure. Timepoint: 3 week after receiving the last dose of HCG. Method of measurement: sonograghy and phisical exam.
