Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Female patients aged 40 or over suffering from primary knee osteoarthritis knee osteoarthritis refering with middle or higher knee joint pain knee osteoarthritis confirmed by a rheumatologist

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: acute and uncontrolled diseases such as gastrointestinal ulcer/ uncontrolled hypertension/ heart attack and stroke within last 6 months secondary osteoarthritis including metabolic disorders such as diabetes mechanical factors such as hypermobility syndrome traumatic arthritis prior joint surgery and its fracture inflammatory arthritis, such as rheumatoid arthritis or other inflammatory arthropathies, gout and septic arthritis acute arthritis use of steroids within 14 days prior to study or injectable form 30 days before the study abuse of alcohol and drugs use of antidepressants epilepsy history of celery allergy estrogen-dependent women diseases pregnancy use of estrogen-containing drugs renal failure or hyperkalemia
