Intervention 1: People confirmed with head lice infestation will recommended to use of 1% permethrin shampoo (Gilaranco- Iran) twice with a one-week interval as a main and first-line and routine treat
each infested person was given a permethrin shampoo and was asked to use it on the head twice with a one-week interval. Half of the permethrin shampoo will be massage on the scalp for 10 minutes and t
each infested person was given a 4% dimethicone lotion and was asked to use it on the head twice with a one-week interval. Half of the 4% dimethicone lotion will be massage on the scalp for 10 minutes

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: A total of 140 people with head lice infestation were referred to the comprehensive health centers in Qom province for treatment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Suspected head lice infested people who were referred to the comprehensive health centers in Qom province that that their disease is not confirmed.
