Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Age of 50 to 80 years; ischemic stroke. Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy; creatinine more than 1.5; a history of using statin in the last the month; contraindication of statin; using anticoagulant; using anti-lipids.

Measuring intimal-media thickness of the distal part of common carotid artery. Timepoint: before intervention and six month and one year later. Method of measurement: using Acer ultrasonography.
