Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: Melatonin 5 mg for 8 weeks. Intervention 2: Control group: will take placebo with the same identical characteristics as melatonin for the same duration.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18-45 years old that have proven endometriosis associated chronic pelvic pain for last 6 months Patient with menstural cycle 21-35 days Patients with VAS score>7

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who had substance and alchohol use in past 6 months Patients were undergoing hormonal therapy in past 3 months

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Pelvic pain. Timepoint: Before and after 8 week of intervention. Method of measurement: A Visual Analogue Scale.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Use of analgesic mefenamic acid. Timepoint: Before and after 8 week of intervention. Method of measurement: Health records.
