Intervention 1: Intervention (colchicine) group: they will receive the drug as 1 mg oral capsule during chest pain (in chest pains last less than 24 hours) and 0.5 mg 1 hour later and then 0.5 mg onc

Placebo group: they will receive the drug as 1 mg placebo oral capsule during chest pain (in chest pains last less than 24 hours) and 0.5 mg 1 hour later and then 0.5 mg once a day for 5 days.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: having a diagnosis of STEMI; being at the age of 18-80 years. Exclusion criteria: pregnancy; heart failure; heart surgery; renal failure; anemia; thrombocytopenia; using colchicine in last 3 days; allergy to colchicine; using macrolides, cyclosporine or tolbutamide.
