Inclusion criteria: 13-14 year old students with general health

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Having systemic diseases Having orthodontic brackets

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Oral health knowledge, attitude and practice. Timepoint: Before, 3 and 12 months after the intervention. Method of measurement: Questionnaire of knowledge, attitude and performance of oral health and tobacco in adolescents.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
CAST index (Caries Assessment Spectrum and Treatment). Timepoint: Before, 3 and 12 months after the intervention. Method of measurement: The CAST index scoring system is as follows: “0: sound”, “1: sealant”, “2: restoration”, “3: enamel lesions”, “4, 5: dentine lesions”, “6: pulp involvement”, “7: abscess/fistula”, “8: tooth loss”. If a situation did not match any codes from 0 to 8, a code 9 was assigned.;Plaque index. Timepoint: Before, 3 and 12 months after the intervention. Method of measurement: 0: no plaque 1: low amount that can only be detected by sond 2: medium amount of plaque 3: high amount of plaque.
