Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants included sedentary women living in nursing homes in Guilan province who had not participated in a regular exercise program (two or three days a week) in the past year. - Age range: 60 to 75 years - Vision and hearing status: Having a good level of vision and hearing with or without assistive devices - Personal status: Having individual independence in performing daily, personal, and health tasks - Disease status: Not having any acute disease incompatible with doing the exercises in this study, including cardiovascular, skin, metabolic, respiratory, and infectious diseases (based on the diagnosis of the doctor and the medical records of the elderly) - Physical status: No acute or chronic injuries, as well as a history of surgery in the lower limbs within the past year (based on the diagnosis of the doctor and the medical records of the elderly) and the ability to walk independently and without assistance and perform exercise - Cognitive status: Obtaining a score of 24 or higher on the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) - Medication status: Not taking sedatives or any type of medication that affects cognitive status and balance.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Not being between the ages of 60 and 75 years old Suffering from any type of acute disease incompatible with performing the exercises in this study, including cardiovascular, skin, metabolic, respiratory, and infectious diseases (based on the diagnosis of the doctor and the medical records of the elderly) Having acute and chronic injuries, as well as a history of surgery in the lower limbs within the last year (based on the diagnosis of the doctor and the medical records of the elderly) Being unable to walk independently and without assistance and perform exercise exercises Obtaining a score below 24 on the cognitive status test (MMSE) Taking sedatives or any type of medication that affects cognitive status and balance.
