Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: bipolar disorder with manic episode; Indication of electroconvulsive therapy. Exclusion criteria: having other psychiatric disorders; contraindication for ECT; drug abuse; using anti-convulsion medications beside sodium valproate.
