Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Resistin. Timepoint: Evaluation of Mean Resistin Levels Before the Intervention and 3 Months After the Completion of the Intervention. Method of measurement: Blood test using ELISA kit.;Insulin resistance. Timepoint: Assessment of insulin resistance before the intervention and 3 months after the completion of the intervention. Method of measurement: Blood test using ELISA kit (HOMA-IR index).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Mean serum triglyceride levels (milligrams per deciliter). Timepoint: Mean Serum triglyceride levels (milligrams per deciliter) before the intervention and 3 months after the completion of the intervention. Method of measurement: Blood test using enzymatic colorimetric assay kits.;Mean serum total cholesterol levels (milligrams per deciliter). Timepoint: Mean serum total cholesterol levels (milligrams per deciliter) before the intervention and 3 months after the completion of the intervention. Method of measurement: Blood test using enzymatic colorimetric assay kits.;Mean serum LDL-C levels (milligrams per deciliter). Timepoint: Mean serum LDL-C levels (milligrams per deciliter) before the intervention and 3 months after the completion of the intervention. Method of measurement: Blood test using direct enzymatic assay kits.;Mean serum HDL-C levels (milligrams per deciliter). Timepoint: Mean serum HDL-C levels (milligrams per deciliter) before the intervention and 3 months after the completion of the intervention. Method of measurement: Blood test using homogeneous enzymatic assay kits.;Mean serum BUN levels (milligrams per deciliter). Timepoint: Mean serum BUN levels (milligrams per deciliter) before the intervention and 3 months after the completion of the intervention. Method of measurement: Blood test using enzymatic kit with urease-glutamate dehydrogenase (GLDH) method.;Mean serum creatinine levels (milligrams per deciliter). Timepoint: Mean serum creatinine levels (milligrams per deciliter) before the intervention and 3 months after the completion of the intervention. Method of measurement: Blood test using enzymatic kit.;Mean body mass index (kilogram per square meter). Timepoint: Mean Body mass index levels (kilogram per square meter) before the intervention and 3 months after the completion of the intervention. Method of measurement: Measurements will be performed by trained staff using calibrated digital scales and stadiometers.
