Interventions

Intervention 1: Control group: The women in this group, took Mefenamic Acid capsule (250 mg produced by Iran Darouk company, Tabriz, Iran), three times a day for three days in three menstrual cycles.
Treatment - Drugs
Control group: The women in this group, took Mefenamic Acid capsule (250 mg produced by Iran Darouk company, Tabriz, Iran), three times a day for three days in three menstrual cycles.
Memoral group: The women in this group, took Memoral capsule (300 mg produced by Goldaru company, Isfahan, Iran), three times a day for three days in three menstrual cycles.
Valerian group: The women in this group, took Valerian capsule (350 mg produced by Herbi Daru company, Tabriz, Iran), three times a day for three days in three menstrual cycles.
Achillea millefolium group: The women in this group, took boiled areal part of Achillea millefolium (3 gr), three times a day for three days in three menstrual cycles.
Melissa group: The women in this group, took Melissa tea bag (2.5 gr Melissa officinalis produced by Armaghane tabiat Company, Tehran, Iran), three times a day for three days in three menstrual cycles
Agnugol group: The women in this group, took Agnugol tablet (3.2 mg Vitex agnus castus produced by Goldaru company, Isfahan, Iran), three times a day for three days in three menstrual cycles.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Primary dysmenorrhea with pain severity score at least 3 in Visual Analogue Scale, the onset of the pain 2 years after the menarche, the onset of the pain before or at the same time of the bleeding, cramping or colic pain in the middle line of supra-pubic, flanks, low back, or inguinal Exclusion criteria: Under treatment for depression or anxiety, oral contraceptives use, hormonal disorders, irregular menstrual cycle, pelvic infection, history of peptic ulcer, use herbal or other synthetic drugs during the study period, vaginitis, sensitivity to medicinal plants, and incomplete treatment
