Interventions
Intervention 1: Intervention group: Patients in the intervention group receive intralesional injections of acyclovir at a concentration of 70 mg/mL (prepared by diluting a 250 mg vial with 3.5 mL norm
for lesions larger than 10 mm, injections are spaced 5 mm apart). Treatment sessions are repeated every 2 weeks until complete clearance or for a maximum of 4 sessions. Intervention 2: Control group:

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age over 18 years. No systemic treatments received in the past 3 months and no topical treatments in the past 4 weeks. Not pregnant or breastfeeding. No open wounds, active infection, or other active skin diseases at the treatment site No active coagulation disorders. No history of cold sensitivity or cold urticaria.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Abnormal kidney function tests. History of seizures. Tendency to keloid formation.
