Intervention 1: Intervention group: Patients will receive 10 days sequential therapy [Pantoprazole (40 mg twice daily) plus amoxicillin (1 mg twice daily) for the first 5 days, followed by Pantoprazol

18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Signing the consent form Aged more than 18 years Requiring to an upper endoscopic evaluation Negative pregnancy test for the female in reproductive age Subjects should not be from nursing staff No treatment for Helicobacter pylori has been received in the past.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: People who received any medications for H pylori (Amoxicillin, Clarithromycin, Metronidazole) in the past 4 weeks Undergoing endoscopy for acute gastrointestinal bleeding Allergy to any of the medications used in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori Having a history of esophageal or gastric carcinoma including lymphoma Esophageal varices or undergoing endoscopy for esophageal varices blockage Taking warfarin or clopidogrel Any coagulopathy that prevents a safe biopsy Pregnancy Having a history of Helicobacter pylori infection History of upper gastrointestinal surgery except for Nissen Fundoplication
