Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: gabapentin administration 1 hour before surgery. Intervention 2: Control group: placebo administration 1 hour before surgery.

Treatment - Drugs

Intervention group: gabapentin administration 1 hour before surgery.

Control group: placebo administration 1 hour before surgery.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: candidates for total abdominal hysterectomy; age between 35- 60 years old. Exclusion criteria:history of known psychiatric disorders; drug abuse; patients with chronic pain.
