Intervention 1: Intervention group: 20 ml Bupivacaine 0.5 with Ketamine. Intervention 2: Intervention group: 20 ml Bupivacaine 0.5 with Dexmedetomidine.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Candidate patients for lumbar fusion surgery Age between 18 to 75 years ASA l-ll with anesthesiologist opinion

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known hypersensitivity to local anesthetics or NSAIDs Long-term treatment with opioids Kidney or liver failure Neoplastic disorders Body mass index (BMI) greater than 30 sepsis Unstable cardiomyopathy or pneumopathy Coagulopathies severe diabetes Preoperative psychiatric or cognitive disorders

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Severity of pain after surgery. Timepoint: 2-6-12-24 hours after surgery. Method of measurement: Visual analog scale.
