Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: age 9 to 25 years candidate for ECT under general anesthesia ASA class I and II informed consent to enter the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Alcohol and drug addiction History of seizures or epilepsy Allergy to anesthetics Heart, nerve and muscle diseases

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Heart Rate. Timepoint: Before anesthesia, 1 minute after Succinylcholine injection, 1,3,5 minutes after seizures and then every 5 minutes to 20 minutes after seizures. Method of measurement: Electrocardiogram.;Blood Pressure. Timepoint: Before anesthesia, 1 minute after Succinylcholine injection, 1 minute after seizures and then every 5 minutes to 20 minutes after seizures. Method of measurement: Barometer.;O2 Saturation. Timepoint: Before anesthesia, 1 minute after Succinylcholine injection, 1,3,5 minutes after seizures and then every 5 minutes to 20 minutes after seizures. Method of measurement: Pulse Oximeter.

MeasureTime frame
Duration of seizures. Timepoint: From the beginning of the seizure (tonic) to the end of the motor seizure (clonic). Method of measurement: Clock (minute, second).;Recovery duration. Timepoint: From the end of clonic movements to complete awakening. Method of measurement: Clock.;Nausea and vomiting. Timepoint: From the return of motor reflexes up to 1 hour. Method of measurement: Observation.;Laryngospasm. Timepoint: From the time of extubation to the end of recovery. Method of measurement: Observation.
