In the cartilage tympanoplasty cartilage slice and perforation can be fixed after the insertion of Gelfoam.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: chronic otitis media with perforation of the anterior of tympanic membrane; chronic otitis media with subtotal perforation of tympanic membrane; chronic otitis media with total perforation of tympanic membrane. Exclusion criteria: who have undergone previous surgery ear; cholesteatoma evidence or retraction pucket exist without perforation; middle ear mucosa polypoid; detachment or hardening of the bone chain; nasal allergies; cleft palate; complications intracranial; adhesive otitis media; any of the diseases and antral and attica conflicts exist; people who need to have mastoidectomy.
