Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria:Healthy adults; with 18.5= BMI= 30; and aged =18 Exclusion criteria: Chronic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases; diabetes type 1 & 2; hypertension; MetS; and cancer; renal and digestive tract diseases; Celiac; hyperthyroid; and carbohydrate intolerance; Those following a special diet e.g. Atkins diet; Low- CHO diet; low-fat diet; Those who take drugs which could influence digestive system; glucose metabolism; thyroid function; body metabolism; weight and appetite; Smoking people; Those with athletic activities; Pregnant and breast-feeding individuals;Those with FBS equal or higher than 100mg/dl

MeasureTime frame
The blood glucose response. Timepoint: in the time 0 (fasting) two fasting finger prick blood samples will be taken and after 15 minutes of the first bite and then in the minutes 30, 45, 60, 90, and 120 the blood glucose will be measured. Method of measurement: Glucometer- Accuchec performa.

Anthropometric measures and blood pressure. Timepoint: Before and after the intervention. Method of measurement: digital scale, wall-mounted tape, manometer.
