Interventions

Intervention 1: The control group did not cause any interference. Intervention 2: For groups of measuring the absorption of iodine, methimazole(Lughman Pharmaceutical company ) for 6 weeks with a dose
Treatment - Drugs
For groups of measuring the absorption of iodine, methimazole(Lughman Pharmaceutical company ) for 6 weeks with a dose of 15 mg daily is given.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: consent to participate in this study; no previous drive; older than 20 years; patients who have severe thyrotoxicosis Exclusion criteria were: Allergies or contra-indications to methimazole; thyroid surgery; pregnancy and lactation

Radio Iodine Uptake. Timepoint: At baseline, 3 days off after a period of 6 weeks. Method of measurement: Nuclear medicine procedures.

TSH. Timepoint: Baseline, 3 months after administration of radioactive iodine. Method of measurement: Test.;FT4. Timepoint: Baseline, 3 months after administration of radioactive iodine. Method of measurement: Test.
