Intervention 1: Intervention group: They will use the thumb spica orthosis, which is a neoprene thumb strap to keep the thumb stable and limit its movements, for 3 months. Intervention 2: Intervention

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Stage 2 and above of arthrosis of the first carpometacarpal joint Age >30 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diagnosis of neuromuscular and inflammatory disease comorbidity The presence of neurological and neuromuscular skeletal diseases comorbidity Presence of inflammatory joint diseases

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Wrist function. Timepoint: Before using orthosis and 3 months after use. Method of measurement: Disabilities of Arm, Shoulder and Hand Questionnaire.;Wrist pain. Timepoint: Before using orthosis and 3 months after use. Method of measurement: With Visual Analogue Scale (VAS).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Use of analgesic during the last week. Timepoint: At the end of the third month of rehabilitation. Method of measurement: Asking the patient.
