Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Neonates with birth weight less than 1500 grams treated with surfactant; informed consent from parents; possibility of using brain NIRS at the first hour after birth

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No parental permission

MeasureTime frame
Oxygen saturation. Timepoint: Before treatment with surfactant, During treatment with surfactant, 5 minutes after treatment with surfactant, 10 minutes after treatment with surfactant. Method of measurement: By pulse oximetry and by Near Infrared Spectrophotometry.
