Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with melasma Aged 18 to 60 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women Lactating women Patients with chronic renal failure and end-stage renal disease cirrhosis and end-stage liver disease Patients with autoimmune disorders such as systemic lupus erythematous, allergy to grape, fern species, and carotenoids Unwillingness to participate in the study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Severity of Melasma and darkness. Timepoint: Before the start of the study and three months after the start of the interventions. Method of measurement: Using modified Melasma Area and Severity Index Scale (m-MASI), DermaCatch, and Visioface.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Patient's quality of life. Timepoint: Before the start of the study and three months after the start of the interventions. Method of measurement: melasma Quality of Life questionnaire (melasQOL).
