Intervention 1: Intervention group: Selenium group (40 patients): 500 mg of selenium was given intravenously before surgery and at the same time at the end of surgery. Intervention 2: Control group: F

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing CABG surgery 18 <Age <65 EF=40-55%

Measure	Time frame
Patient serum lactate levels. Timepoint: It is measured before and after the operation, two hours later, and then 6, 12, 18, and 24 hours after the operation. Method of measurement: Biochemistry test (by turbulence-spectrophotometry method).	—
