Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age of 18 years or more Having 1 to 5 oral aphthous ulcers No more than 48 hours of aphthous occurrence Not receiving any systemic antibiotic within the last 2 weeks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy Lactation Underlying disease causing oral aphthous ulcer

MeasureTime frame
Oral aphthous ulcer size. Timepoint: Before the intervention, 2 and 5 days after the start of intervention. Method of measurement: Dental caliper.;Pain severity. Timepoint: Before the intervention, 2 and 5 days after the start of intervention. Method of measurement: Visual Analog Scale.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The number of cases with complete ulcer healing. Timepoint: End of ontervention (5th day). Method of measurement: Observation.
