Intervention 1: Relaxation group: In Benson relaxation, Benson relaxation steps were taught to patients, until during the study period they do steps daily for 15-20 minutes twice for 4 weeks in dialys

Aromatherapy group: In aromatherapy group, two drops of lavender essential of 5% diluted with a carrier oil of sweet almond were poured by dropper on a cotton ball and connected by a pin to the collar
Control group: Control group received no intervention.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: 1) aged 20 to 60 years and signed a consent form informed, .2) a patient with end-stage of kidney disease and an active file in dialysis center of Imam Ali and Khatam hospitals in Zahedan (a guest dialysis patient or not periodic dialysis) and regular visit at least 12 weeks with 3 sessions of dialysis,. 3) with the ability of listening, speaking, and consciousness acceptable to answer questions,. 4) obtaining fatigue score of at least 4, of summarized fatigue tools (Brief Fatigue Inventory ) for inclusion, 5) obtaining anxiety score of Spiellberger anxiety scale, between 32-64 in state anxiety and between 32-62 in trait anxiety for inclusion, 6) lack of a history of major surgery and stressful event in the last 6 months, 7) lack of neurological- muscular disorders (will be difficult to do relaxation technique) and mental disorders and history of hospitalization (severe depression, anxiety, and mental retardation), 8) lack of active malignant and blood, acute and chronic diseases (acquired immune deficiency syndrome, hepatitis, sepsis, cancer, tuberculosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), 9) non-smoking and a variety of drugs, alcohol, 10) not pregnant (for women under hemodialysis), 11) lack of history of allergic rhinitis or respiratory problems (aromatherapy precautions), 12) lack of olfactory disorder and sensitivity to the smell of lavender, and 13) non- use of sedation or other treatments 6 weeks before an intervention (such as the use of herbal essentials, regular exercise) to reduce anxiety and fatigue. B - Exclusion criteria: 1) kidney transplantation and peritoneal dialysis during the intervention period, 2) the use of sedative drugs or any non-pharmacological method to reduce stress and fatigue during the intervention period, 3) a patient death or an experience of severe stressful event during the study (such as bereavement, divorce), 4) change dialysis schedule or sessions dialysis canceled for any reason, 5) the use of perfumes or cologne during the intervention (aromatherapy), 6) sensitive to the smell of lavender and/ or the emergence of drug complications, recent severe hemorrhage and malignant diseases and 7) Failure to comply with the study plan
