Interventions

Intervention 1: 3 sessions training program with family in the intervention group (the first session was before surgery and second and third were in the third and fifth day after surgery, each session

Prevention

3 sessions training program with family in the intervention group (the first session was before surgery and second and third were in the third and fifth day after surgery, each session prolonged 30-40

Control group received routine training with pamphlet that contained: post op complications ,medication, diet, activity, respiratory Physiotherapy, dressing, take shower

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: open heart surgery candidate absence of chronic disease (expected risk factor of heart disease) absence of vision, hearing, speaking ,cognitive impairment power over the Persian language Exclusion criteria: the desire to leave prolonged hospitalization
